I have lived at 4 High Ridge Road since 2013 and belong to Congregation Shaar Hashamayim. I have attended Village Board meetings and studied our village code for years. What I have seen is what motivated me to run.

I am not anti-development. State and village laws exist to protect residents, and I intend to follow them.
The rezoning request for the New York Country Club is a fair example: there may be reason to consider adjustments, but the process must be resident-first and legally sound, not fast-tracked for developer convenience.
As Mayor, I will be one vote out of five on the Village Board. I cannot promise specific outcomes. I can promise how I will govern:
The Village website will be kept current.
Agendas will include meaningful detail before meetings.
Draft minutes and recordings will be posted within two weeks, as required by law.
I will not advance rezoning or development applications that are improperly defined or unsupported by the Village Planning Board.
I will oppose any attempt to move forward in ways that are unlawful, arbitrary, or capricious.
I will complete the Comprehensive Plan with proper environmental review, propose rescinding the scoping document approval for the golf course to correct the process, require a concept plan the Planning Board recommends, and ensure all involved agencies participate.
Every write-in vote on Wednesday sends a message. If I win, I will work to bring basic competence and transparency to village government.
That should not be a high bar.

I am deeply committed to the well-being of New Hempstead's residents. I support initiatives that improve public safety, maintain our community character, and promote environmental sustainability. This does not mean being anti-development, but it also does not mean being pro development. What this means is being resident centric and making sure that new development in the Village is in accordance with a resident driven comprehensive plan.
I am dedicated to maintaining open lines of communication with residents to address your concerns and aspirations effectively.
As a resident who has taken the time to attend Village Hall meeting, I understand the unique challenges and opportunities facing New Hempstead.
I am committed to preserving the Village's natural beauty while embracing progress and innovation.
I will be a dedicated public servant and will clean up the website, ensure order in Vilalge Hall, and communicate in more depth regarding village operations, finances and development applications.
I promise to lead with integrity, and ensure that every personal decision is made with the community's best interests at heart.
My first and foremost commitment is to transparency and accountability. My first aim is to build trust and encourage resident participation in village board meetings.
I will support initiatives that enhance quality of life, such as improving public transportation, walking trails, and expanding recreational facilities.
I will pick up where the current administration has dropped the ball with comprehensive planning and will work with the planning boards, the zoning board and the village engineer and planner to figure out where our codes need to be strengthened and/or be better enforced.
