Reasons to Vote for Change

After nine years of the current administration:

Residents arrive at board meetings confused and leave anxious about zoning and development.

Minutes and recordings are posted months late, sometimes six months late.

Agendas go up with no details, no proposed resolutions, no exhibits.

When minutes do appear, they sometimes reflect actions that were never on the agenda.

Public hearings have been scheduled without proper board resolutions, by email alone.

Last June, a resident who raised concerns about missing minutes was publicly rebuked at a board meeting. The legal explanation offered in response was incorrect.

The 2020 Comprehensive Plan and subsequent rezoning laws were overturned by the Supreme Court for failure to comply with state environmental review requirements. Despite that ruling, the Village has continued to advance development applications without completing the court-ordered restart of its environmental review process.

These are not policy disagreements. They are basic failures of administration and legal compliance.
